About The
New Works Festival
The New Works Festival is a new project based in the Studio Series, where the youth of our community may submit new works they have written whether is be a new musical or play, to be produced as a workshop production in a studio space. Directors may be nominated and submitted with a piece or selected by the production staff of Daydreamer Productions is no director is submitted. This will allow Ocean County the chance to see just what our very own young artists can create.
What To Submit
The New Works Festival will accept:
-Full Length Plays
-Full Lenght Musicals
-One-Act Plays
-One-Act Musicals
Email your submissions to daydreamerproductionsnj@gmail.com with your script/libretto attached. If submitting a musical, please include at least 3 song demos with your submission.
Due by no later than
September 5, 2016 at 11:59 PM EST
(Labor Day)
Submissions will be selected to be produced by September 7, 2016.
Rehearsals should begin
September 10, 2016
Festival will be performed as a workshop production set in a studio space from November 3-6, 2016.
This festival will be the second production of our new
STUDIO SERIES
